An art museum is critical to its community as a presenter of beauty, a repository of creative artifacts, a place of learning, and a catalyst for new ideas. By supporting the Nevada Museum of Art, you are contributing to the world-class exhibitions and educational programs that will inspire the next generation of creative thinkers. We thank the many members and friends who support the Nevada Museum of Art throughout the year and invite you to join them by making a gift today.

  • Honorarium and Memorial Gifts: An honorarium or memorial gift is a meaningful way to recognize friends, family, business associates, and special occasions, while at the same time supporting the exhibitions, collections, and education programs of the Museum.
  • Corporate Support and Membership: In order to serve our community and region, the Nevada Museum of Art must rely on its vital partnership with the corporate community to provide a foundation of support. Corporate contributions enable the Museum to present a wide variety of exhibitions and programs to visitors annually. Corporate support also affords your company public relations opportunities that provide creative solutions to specific marketing objectives as you align your brand with the Nevada’s only accredited art museum. For those interested in Corporate Membership, the Museum offers a variety of options. Corporate members may receive significant benefits corresponding to their membership level for both executives and employees – from guest passes to opportunities for corporate entertaining in the Museum’s incomparable spaces.
  • Gifts of Art: Do you have an artwork in your collection that you think may be appropriate for the Museum’s collection? Are you an artist or gallery owner who would like to donate an artwork? If your artwork is not the right fit for the Museum’s collection, it is still possible to donate the artwork to the Museum as a “gift of property,” which may have other tax benefits.
  • Planned Gifts: Create your legacy. Secure our future. Like our founders, Dr. James E. Church and Charles F. Cutts, many donors to the Nevada Museum of Art choose to ensure the Museum’s future and enhance their community with estate planning and legacy gifts. There are a number of creative ways to support the Museum in which you and your loved ones benefit at the same time. Whether your intentions are to eliminate taxes, benefit from an increased income stream or make provisions for an organization that is meaningful to you in your estate plans, there is a gift to fit every objective.
  • In-Kind Gifts: The Nevada Museum of Art benefits enormously from in-kind gifts that provide non-cash support for a wide variety of needs. A member of the Advancement Team will be happy to assist you in coordinating your in-kind contribution.

Volunteer: When volunteering for the Nevada Museum of Art, you belong to a special group of dedicated individuals who donate their time and experience to helping sustain the many activities of the organization.

Docents: The Nevada Museum of Art actively recruits tour guides (called docents) to lead tours for all age groups. Docents are trained volunteers who host guided tours of the Museum’s exhibitions and/or facilitate hands-on art workshops. Docents have a true passion for learning and sharing their knowledge with others, and provide an invaluable service to our visitors through their volunteer efforts.
