As a VENUE: Host your event…

The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame offers a unique venue to help make your event one to remember. We host a variety of events at the Hall of Fame including: * proms * corporate meetings * holiday parties * birthday & anniversary parties * family reunions * weddings, and * much more. All rentals include coordination of equipment rental through All Occasions Party Rentals and set-up and breakdown of event. Three distinctive rental spaces are offered

• Pat Summitt Rotunda: This area of the Hall of Fame features a sweeping staircase, panoramic views of downtown Knoxville, and a wraparound balcony. The Pat Summitt Rotunda can seat up to 250, with additional seating for 80 on the outside balcony. You may also rent the lower rotunda only, which can seat up to 10.
• Urban Playground: This is a private area that is designed to resemble an urban ball court. With graffiti covered walls, a chain link fence, and bleachers, the space is perfect for company picnics, team building, luncheons, and birthdays. The area can seat up to 100 at round tables and up to 250 with theatre style seating.
• Exclusive Facility Rental: Want to make basketball part of your event? Our exclusive facility rental gives you access to the all areas above, plus our museum exhibits and ball courts. Your guests can relax as they shoot around on the court, learn about the past and present of women’s basketball, and take part in your special event. Up to 600 guests can be accommodated with this rental.

As an independent free-standing museum, the WBHOF relies on charitable support to fulfill its mission. As a museum, they are the keepers of the game for the women’s basketball story. The WBHOF recognizes all levels of achievement in women’s basketball–players, coaches, officials, contributors and veterans of the game on the national and international stage. The WBHOF relies on members, corporate and private funding to support their vision through youth education programs, community outreach and preserving the history of women’s basketball.

Membership:

Memberships at specified levels are offered: * Individual and * Family. Memberships are great gifts for families and individuals. Athlete Members received free admission into the Hall of Fame for a year for one person, 10% discount in gift shop, WBHOF newsletter, and WBHOF member decal. Team Members received free admission into the Hall of Fame for a year for two adults and two youth, 10% discount in gift shop, WBHOF newsletter, and WBHOF member decal.

• Purchase a Brick: The courtyard outside of the Pat Summitt Rotunda of the Hall of Fame, shaped like a basketball, is comprised of numerous bricks with personalized inscriptions. Many of the bricks are engraved to honor guests, inductees, and a host of others who have chosen to leave their legacy at the Hall of Fame.

• Will / Living Trust: Defer a gift to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame until after your passing. Work with your attorney to add a gift in your will or living trust detailing your donation to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame upon your passing.
• Beneficiary Designation: Maintain control of your assets during your lifetime. Designate the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame as beneficiary of a percentage or your retirement plan, savings or brokerage account or life insurance policy.
• Donor Advised Fund: Simplify your charitable giving. Open a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) with a written agreement at a community foundation or sponsoring organization. Contribute cash or assets anytime to be invested by that organization, which promote regular accounting to you. When the term is up the balance goes to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.
• Charitable Lead Annuity Trust: Proved a revenue stream to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. You transfer securities or another appreciating property into a charitable lead trust. The trust pays a fixed amount each year to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame for a lifetime or term of years.  The balance then passes to your heirs.

Internship: The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame offers internships which will give real-world experience working in a non-profit organization in many different areas. Depending on the time of year, interns can work on the WBHOF’s annual Induction festivities or in more general areas such as communications, basketball relations, operations, or special events.
